In three hours together you will both walk away with: The comfort measures that actually make a difference when labour is intense including hands on counter pressure, positioning, movement practised together so you have experienced them not just on a page. A clear understanding of the birth partner's role - how to be the communicator and protect the environment and support you so you can go inward and do what your body knows how to do. The confidence to ask the right questions, navigate the unexpected and advocate and understand the choices you've made together, as a team. Be prepared for whatever unfolds, both knowing how birth actually works. And an honest look at the fears and beliefs you're each carrying in so you can meet birth with clarity rather than carry what you've picked up from tv and the stories from friends into the room.
